Lough Ramor lies south of Virginia in the direction of Ballyjamesduff . It is the most important coarse fishery in the area, and is very good for roach, hybrids, bream and perch. A large number of pike over 25 lbs. (11kg.) have also been caught.
The southern end of the lake is best for fishing and here it is only about 6 ft. (2 metres) deep). Boats may be hired locally but the lake also fishes very well from the southern shore.
Season: All year around.
Coarse fishing is free.
