Fishing lodge on Ireland 's lough Sheelin.

"Captains Bay" is a purpose built Fishing Lodge. Located on the Crover shore of Lough Sheelin, Co. Cavan, Ireland. It sits on one secluded acre of mature grounds and has considerable lakeshore frontage. A private pier and boat and engine are included. There is also a hut beside the pier for overnight storage of tanks, nets, oars, etc. The lodge has been designed by a fisherman for fishermen but can also make a delightful holiday for families

The view from the sitting room is one of the best on Lough Sheelin. The house is not overlooked and access is via 1/5 mile of shared private avenue. There are few passers-by, apart from the local gentry on horseback, who come to enjoy the view. At the same time the Crover House Hotel is only a mile down the shore.

The lodge gives easy access to Loughs; Ramor, Kinale, Lacken (Nadrageel), and the River Blackwater.
